Our Story

Chick & Tender was established in 2025 by Dean Poll and his good friend Tom Fanning. Poll, restaurateur and owner of the iconic Gallaghers Steakhouse in New York City and Boca Raton and a longtime Long Island resident, created the concept to combine quality food with the convenience of quick service while focusing on classic New York flavors.

Through deep-rooted partnerships with trusted local purveyors, Chick & Tender proudly serves the finest and freshest ingredients that reflect a commitment to our loyal guests.

The Experience

We have built a New York fried chicken experience. Our goal is to serve delicious food with the highest quality ingredients, which we source from local purveyors who we know and trust. Our food is all fresh. It’s made in-house. And we included New York staples like the black & white cookie, the rainbow cookie, Dr. Brown's soda and milkshakes made using incredible flavors from Fruit Crown, made right here on Long Island. We can't wait for you to experience what we have created.
